Reclaimed Heart Pine Flooring in Georgia

One of our favorite things to do at the shop is make reclaimed heart pine flooring for customers.  Here is how we do it:

First we acquire old wood from buildings that have seen the end of their useful life.

Next we cut these timbers into 1 inch thick blanks that can be made into flooring:

Dry Kiln Reclaimed Flooring
Flooring blanks are “sticker stacked” and placed in our dry kiln

After the reclaimed lumber has been cut and dried, it ready to be turned into flooring using our SCMI 6 head moulder:
