Boring to Badass Boardroom Tables

If you could choose a word to describe your current boardroom table what would it be?

  • Boring

  • Non-existent

  • Badass

If it’s the latter - congrats! If it’s the first or second, then we can help.

As a smart and confident business leader, you don’t want to feel embarrassed when you walk a potential client into your conference room to close the deal or when employees enter for a creative brainstorm. This is the space where you want your genius to shine and inspire decisions to push your brand forward.

Over the years, we’ve helped create custom conference tables for very smart business leaders from Atlanta to Athens. We know that custom furniture can be intimidating because it makes you wonder “where do we even start?” Well now you can dismiss the question and begin the process.

Below is a guide to walk you through the process of creating a Badass Boardroom Table:

What’s the size of your space? How many people do you want to fit?

These questions go hand-in-hand. While you may want to sit 20 people at your table, if it’s a small space then you won’t be able to meet that goal. Generally, it’s good to allow at least 18” per person. Also measure the size of your space, you want to be able to get up and easily walk around the table. The chart below can help you figure out the size of your space and the table size that we recommend.

What shape are you interested in?

While rectangular shapes can fit more people and spaces, you can also get creative with unique options. Below are the different options:

  • Rectangular

  • Circle

  • Oval

  • Modular

  • Live-edge

  • Square

What is the style of your space?

Do you have certain elements in your space that you want to compliment?   Do you want the table to set the tone for your office? We craft tables from classy and sophisticated to others that scream, “LOOK AT ME!” from across the room.

Can you trust the product?

You want your table to hold up to the life happening around it. It can be frustrating and stressful to pay a lot of money for a custom table then be super uptight when someone is taking notes or resting a cup of coffee on the surface. With everything else you manage, your boardroom table shouldn’t be one of them. We finish your table with a dull matte conversion varnish that keeps it beautiful for a long time and holds up to the intern’s sweaty water bottle.

Do you want room for technology?

We value the importance of staying connected and your equipment powered during your presentation. There are many creative ways you can incorporate technology into your conference table and prevent cords running everywhere. Bring your ideas and desires to us and we can craft a creative option.

If you are ready to stop being boring and pave the badass path for your business, then visit our showroom or get a quote to begin the process of making your business dreams a reality.

I ordered a custom conference table from Waters Edge and I’m so glad I did! It is a gorgeous walnut table — made on time, on budget, and a perfect fit for the size we needed too. The team made the process really easy and had samples to show us how the finished product would look. They also applied a restaurant grade finish to protect it from coffee in the conference room (very needed!). They were super easy to work with and really responsive throughout the project. I’ll be ordering more furniture from them in the future for sure.
