In the 1910s-1930s, 2.5″ vertical grain, heart pine flooring was a popular option in many southern homes. Today, as these homes are repaired or additions made, finding a source to match these beautiful old floors can be difficult. We have taken so many calls from clients over the last month looking for it, that we thought a blog post was in order. We do make a 2.5″, clear, vertical grain floor in smaller (or larger) quantities. This flooring starts as large beams sourced from old textile mills so nail holes are kept to a minimum.
If you are looking for a 2.5″ reclaimed heart pine flooring, send us an email or give us a call at the shop to discuss your project.
